About Me
Anne Rearick is an award-winning photographer whose print work has appeared in The NewYorker, Vanity Fair and The Washington Post, as well as France’s Le Monde and Libération.
Equally devoted to spotting secret smiles, quirky details and moments of joy, Anne’s photographs capture the unique spirit of each wedding, whether a clam bake in a Cape Cod backyard, a rustic celebration in a gorgeous barn in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, or an elegant international affair in a French chateau.
Based in the historic fishing port of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Anne is regularly called upon to photograph New England weddings at Mass Audubon’s Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary,The Codman Estate,The Lyman Estate,The Robert Treat Paine Estate, Moraine Farm, Labelle Winery, among other locations.
I’ve always been believed in the power of the image. From my first photograph of my radiant grandmother standing in front of a blossoming lilac bush, to a portrait of Basque accordion player friend immersed in his music to the absolute joy written all over the faces of a newlywed couple walking down the aisle, photographs preserve stories and create indelible memories of our most important moments.
